Carlos always had a smile and something funny to say at coffee. Would joke about Maria spending all his money, I'm a bullddog but of course he is a pirate. And bragging about his grandchildren. Never complained. Miss you Carlos, know you are resting in peace. Thoughts and Prayers to the Family.

Carlos and Maria have been my neighbors for almost 13 years. I will miss my dear friend and buddy Carlos. You could not find a better neighbors and friend than Carlos.. When I painted my house he was there every day for 40 days sometimes just standing by the ladder to make sure I didn't fall, sometimes pointing out spots I missed. He was my guardian angel. He was a blessing to Shorepines Bay Village with beautiful decorations for every holiday. His joking and antics brought joy to us all. He will be dearly missed by all. Be at peace my friend. My prayers are for his devoted wife Maria, his loving children and family to feel the love of God and His comfort in your time of sorrow.

Dear Karla & Family, Were so shocked to see your Father's notice in the paper. We hadn't met him (and seems "forever" since we've seen you), but wanted you all to know we're thinking of you. Our prayers and condolences. Linda & Chuck Goodwin

My wife and I always walk around Shorepines and would come across Carlos working in his yard. He would jokingly ask us for money...it became our joke. We would always remember to have a quarter with us when we walked so we could drop it in the bird bath in his front yard.

Carlos was such a happy character...always ready with a laugh.

We regret not stopping by during his last few weeks but didn't want to bother the family...we wanted to remember our friend for his laugh and request for money.

Rest In Peace amigo. Never stop checking the bird bath,,,❤

I remembered Carlos from Pony Village Mall. I remember seeing him when I was younger and just hanging out, and then I worked there for a short time as well. He was always so friendly and talking to people, he always had a smile on his face and a cup of coffee in his hand.
