Theresa Marie McArthur

Theresa Marie McArthur, of North Bend, OR went to be with our lord on September 10, 2020.  She was surrounded by her loving family at her home. 

Theresa (Terri) Buettner was born April 9, 1951 in Sidney, Nebraska, the first born daughter of John and Marva (Devier) Buettner.   The family moved to Manteca, CA in 1956 where Terri attended St. Anthony’s Catholic school and graduated from Manteca High School in 1969. 

Growing up, she loved spending time at the family farm in Nebraska with her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.  She worked at Raley’s in Manteca, CA for 25 years, retiring in 2016 and moving to North Bend, OR to be closer to her family.  After her retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling.  Her favorite destinations were Disney World, Disneyland and anywhere near the warm ocean.   

She is survived by her four children, Stanton (Melissa) McArthur and James McArthur of North Bend, OR, Michelle (Eric) Romo of Galt, CA, Raquel (Jon) Holder of Coos Bay, OR; six grandchildren, Johnny (Holley) McArthur of Modesto, CA, Devin Riley of Stockton, CA, Sebastian McArthur of Acampo, CA, Rachelle (Walter) Herzog of Coos Bay, OR, Nicholas Holder of La Grande, OR, and Jasmyn Romo of Galt, CA; two great grandchildren, Averie and Aubrie Herzog of Coos Bay, OR; one sister Denise (Terry) Daugherty of Camas, WA; mother Marva Buettner of Manteca, CA. 

She was preceded in death by her father, John E. Buettner.

A Celebration of Life will be held at her home on September 24, 2020 for the family.
