Quillene Lavon Pierce (Turley) was born May 17th 1945 in Springer, New Mexico and passed away May 8th 2024 peacefully in her sleep. She was 78 years old, 9 days away from her 79th Birthday.
She lived to have 3 daughters: Marie,Margarita and Melissa, Who gave her grand children and great grand children.Plus extended family.
She loved spending time with family and friends and enjoyed crafting, puzzles, reading, card games, soaking in a warm bubble bath and line dancing in her free time.
Lavon (also known as “lady” by her great grand kids) lived a full very well lived life, always on the go!
She had brought many smiles and laughter to this world and created so many memories along the way. Many trips, outings and adventures with her family and friends that will never be forgotten and many stories and traditions to be passed down the family line. Her goal to gather up and get out there was truly inspiring and something we can all take from in her memory. We remember Lavon as a loving, caring, silly, family oriented, spunky woman who always told it how it was whether you liked it or not. She will be greatly missed and her memory will live on for generations to come as she gave us so much to remember.
Her departure comes as a great shock to us all that is gravely felt by all her loved ones. The family deeply appreciates all the love and support during this difficult time and welcomes those who would like to join Lavons memorial group on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/share/jLMLYgTwScJ3sQJ1/?mibextid=K35XfP) where pictures, stories, wishes can be shared or simply just to reminisce on old times shared with her.
