Norman "Mike" Bishop

Norman "Mike" Bishop was born on the 4th of July, 1944 and left us on December the 5th, 2024. He leaves behind his wife of 26 yrs, Donna Bishop of Coos Bay, his son and daughter-in-law, Nick and Cindy Bishop of Coos Bay, his daughter, Michalla Bishop of Dorchester, MA. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 29yrs, Monica Bishop in 1996.

Mike was a long-time servant of the local community with 32 yrs of service with the Coos Bay Police Dept. He loved to hunt and fish, sharing many great memories with his family and friends in the outdoors right up to the end. He never forgot a friend's name and loved to recite stories of all the adventures he shared with people throughout his life.

The family invites you to a Celebration of life for Mike Bishop on April 12th at 1pm to be held at the Mill Casino Hotel - Bear Grass Willow Room. Food and refreshments will be provided. Please come and share your favorite stories about Mike Bishop.
