After a brief illness, June Tillia, 94 years young, passed away peacefully with family present, Wednesday evening, April 29, 2026.
June was born in Seminole, OK. Her family moved to Oregon when she was ten. She graduated from Klamath Union High School and was a member of Varsity Rally Squad.
Shortly after graduating, June went to work for Sears and Roebuck as a Sales Associate. In her late twenties, the store Manager promoted her to Unit Control Manager, overseeing the Inventory of the store. Sears then promoted and transferred her to Southern California and two years later, they promoted June to the IT Dept., in charge of training Southern California stores on using their new computerized cash registers. Sears was her only employer.
In 1973, June and her husband Frank transferred with their jobs to Tigard, Oregon to be near their grandchildren and family.
June loved flowers and was famous for her flower gardens, tole painting, and handmade quilts. She loved to cook and bake and often experimented. June loved her sparkles and angel collection.
Her Family remembers and cherishes her for being able to call her and confide in her. We are thankful for her love, wisdom, and forgiveness. With gratitude we remember and relied on her for her knowledge of God's word.
June is loved and greatly missed by her family as well as her large extended family. She has many friends and was committed to her church and Bible Study Group who treasured her friendship as well.
She is loved and lived her life with much grace.
Flowers and Tree Plantings are welcome; yet if preferred June’s family suggests donations to Skyline Baptist Church as well.
