Kristie Arlene (Benson) Jacobson

Kristie Arlene Jacobson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully in her sleep in North Bend, Oregon on April 12, 2025 at the age of 76 years old. An urnside service will be held on Friday, May 9th at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park, 63060 Millington Frontage Road in Coos Bay. A celebration of life will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Bay Point Landing, 92443 Cape Arago Highway in Coos Bay.

Kristie was born on December 20, 1948 in North Bend to her parents, Harold and Darlene Benson. She grew up on Benson Ranch in Lakeside with a strong spirit, a kind heart, and a passion for life. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Kristie is survived by her devoted husband, Carl; daughters, Cathryn, Tracie and Meagan; sons, Kyle and Brady; and grandchildren, Charlie, Alex, Everett, Cyan, Connor, Jordan and Karly.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society since Kristie was a breast cancer survivor.
