Herbert H. Coyner

Herbert Henry Coyner, age 85, of Coos Bay, passed away on June 18, 2025, in Coos Bay. A graveside service with military honors will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Roseburg National Cemetery.

Herbert was born on September 13, 1939, in Cody, Wy, to Dave and Edna (Wilson) Coyner. He proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1962. In 1966, he married Jane Elizabeth Jennings in Cottage Grove, Oregon. Jane preceded him in death in 2021.

He is survived by his children: Sheryl McLean, Carol Hoover, and Darrol Coyner; their spouses, Brian McLean and Angie Coyner; and his beloved grandchildren: Katlin (and her husband Stephen), Sean, Alicia, and Anna. He was preceded in death by his son, Jarrel Coyner, in 1994.
