A funeral service for Gerald Marion Windsor, 95, of Coos Bay, will be held at 1pm, Monday, February 9 at Christ Lutheran Church, 1835 N 15th Street in Coos Bay. Interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Park in Coos Bay.
Gerald was born July 19, 1930 in Peru, Kansas to Otto and Pearl Windsor. He passed away January 28, 2026 in Coos Bay, after a brief illness.
Gerald served his country while in the United States Army, during the Korean War.
He was a woodcarver, doing his intarsia and whittling. He loved living on the river because he was an avid fisherman and hunter in his younger years.
Gerald is survived by his son, Timothy Windsor and wife, Sara; daughter, Debbie Taylor and husband, David; four grandchildren, Kayla and husband, John, Alyssa and Josh, Jason and wife, Amie and Brian; four great-grandchildren, Otto, Ruby, Merriwether and Trudie; special friend, Dorothy Peterson and her daughter and son- in-law, Debbie and Tom Boehnen.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon.
