Eva Imogene Freerksen

A memorial service for Eva Imogene Freerksen, 80, of Coos Bay, will be held at 1 pm, Saturday, April 24 at the Family Life Center Church of God of North Bend, 1067 Newmark Street in North Bend, with Pastor Trevor Hefner, officiating.

Eva was born January 8, 1941 in Bennett Springs, Missouri to Edwin I. and Dollie Teresa (Jeffries) Scott. She passed away April 3, 2021 in Coos Bay.

Eva and her husband John were just short of their 65th wedding anniversary, which they were looking forward to celebrating on August 25, 2021.

Family, friends and all those who had the pleasure of knowing Eva, will miss her sense of humor, love and care for others.

Eva is survived by her husband, John; her six children, John, Janet, Jerry, Julie, Jeff and Josh, alongside her sons and daughters in love; numerous grand and great- grandchildren; grandpa Great “Pops”; siblings, Bill, Roy, Gary, Jim and Leah and their spouses who were also like siblings. She also loved her siblings’ children and grandchildren, as well as her many cousins.

She was greeted in Heaven by her daddy, Edwin Scott; her momma, Dollie Bailey; and her brothers, Eddie, Leslie, Dennis, Ronald and Richard.
