Dorothy Ann Haga, 96, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2025. She was born February 7, 1929, in Marshfield, Oregon to Joseph and Florence Lapp.
She graduated from Marshfield High School in 1947 and spent her life in Coos County.
She married Clyde E. Haga in 1949 and they moved to Arago, Oregon to start their family. By 1952, they had three children – Fred, Linda, and Rick – and a dairy with 30 head of cows.
Dorothy enjoyed church and school activities with her children. She loved collecting antiques, and gardening. After Clyde retired, they spent time traveling in their travel trailer, enjoying their time together with friends and family.
She was an advocate for the American Red Cross, and proud of the gallons of blood she had donated. She volunteered into her 90s at the Green Acres Grange and with S.T.E.P. garage sales and potlucks.
Dorothy is survived by her youngest son, Rick (Heidi) Haga; brother Bill Lapp; granddaughters; Kimberly (Chuck) Webb, Kari (Drew) Gallagher, Johnni Ann Conrad, Tanya (Mark) Bernard, and grandsons; Cameron Haga and Ryon (Sarah) Haga. 14 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years Clyde Haga; daughter Linda Malcomb and son, Fred Haga.
