David was born January 12, 1941 in Cottage Grove, Oregon to Leslie and Genevieve Booth. He passed away February 14, 2026 in Coos Bay.
David attended Cottage Grove High School and earned his GED while serving in the United States Navy. He served from 1958 to 1962 and was stationed on the USS Jason.
David was a long-haul truck driver for many years. He also worked at Walmart; where he was always happy to greet and meet new people.
Dave loved his boat - the Sloscrew, guns and football, especially the Seattle Seahawks. He was a proud member of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary and also US Power Squadron.
He will be deeply missed by all those who knew him.
Dave is survived by his wife, Carol Booth of Coos Bay; son, Devin (Jennifer) Booth and sons, Corbin and Dylan; honorary daughters, Rosario “Rosi”, Jeff Fauver and family of Sutherlin, Bryande (Michael) Slaska and family of North Bend.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Genevieve Booth and his brothers, Robert and Richard Booth.
