Daniel "Curly" C. Mills Sr.

At his request, no public services will be held for Daniel "Curly" Clayton Mills Sr. 

He was born November 26, 1960 in Coos Bay the son of Rodney Clifford MIlls Sr. and Leorabell Faye Kirkendahl. He passed away March 25, 2025 in Coos Bay due to medical complications. 

Danny lived his life on his terms. He loved the outdoors, animals, family and friends. HE was a commercial fisherman for most of his life and always loved the ocean. One of his biggest wishes was to sail the ocean for the rest of his life!

He is survived by his 3 children, Tasha Mills of Washington, Daniel Clayton Mills Jr. of Terrebonne and Cassie Nichole Mills of Portland; father, Rod Mills Sr. of Coos Bay; 6 grandchildren; Daughter-in-law, Dayrene Mills; 2 brothers, Michael Mills and Rodney Mills Jr.; 2 half sisters, Vickie Harris and Leaha; 3 sisters-in-law; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother. 

"Remember me as I was." "So sail away and smile"  He will be missed by many.
