Dale Robert Hensley

A memorial service for Dale Robert Hensley, 55, of Coos Bay was held at the Coos Bay Chapel with Carl Armstrong officiating. Private cremation was held at Ocean View Memory Gardens in Coos Bay.

Dale was born April 24, 1964 in Coos Bay to Gary and June Hensley. He passed away October 23, 2019 in Coos Bay.

Dale was born and raised in Coos Bay. He attended Charleston Elementary School, Sunset Middle School and Marshfield High School. He married Wanda Grantham and had two sons, Kevin and Kyle. After Wanda and Dale’s divorce, Dale was fortunate to find companionship and love with his longtime girlfriend and fiancée, Becky Shawl.

He worked most of his life as a CNA/caregiver at various places, including Star of Hope, Baycrest Village and Guardian Angel Foster Care.

Dale loved Oregon Ducks football, WWE wrestling, but most of all, he loved to spend time with family and friends.

He is survived by his sons, Kevin Hensley of Coos Bay and Kyle Hensley of Salem; sister, Dena Barnett of Coos Bay; fiancée, Becky Shawl of Coos Bay; grandsons, Johnny and Cayden of Coos Bay; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
