Bobbi Rai Calley was born on August 10, 1968 in Tacoma, Washington. She passed away on October 26, 2025 in North Bend, Oregon, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and deep devotion to her family.
Bobbi was a woman who lived life out loud. She was known for her outspoken nature, her willingness to connect with others, and her love of socializing and sharing stories. She had a strong presence – one that could be felt the moment she entered a room – and she was never afraid to speak her truth.
Life was not always easy for Bobbi. She faced many struggles and fought hard against her demons, showing courage even in her most difficult moments. Through it all, her love for her family never wavered. Her children and grandchildren were her heart, and she carried a deep desire to grow, heal, and be better for them. Her grandchildren, especially, gave her purpose, hope, and motivation to keep trying.
Bobbi is survived by her loving mother, Thelma Young; her father’s wife, Jean; and her children LaRisha Calley, Jalaine Moore, and Jayce Moore.
Bobbi was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Calley; her children Garen Calley-Young and Gary Moore Jr.; and her brother, Corey Scroggins.
Bobbi was a proud grandmother to ten beautiful grandchildren; Armond, Isaiah, Zyriel, Kyleah, Jeweliet, Javier, Zayvion, June, Azyla, and Zymeer, each of whom held a special place in her heart.
Bobbi’s life was complex, but it was filled with love. She will be remembered not only for the battles she fought, but for the love she gave, the connections she made, and the family she cherished deeply. Her story is one of honesty, struggle, strength, and enduring love. She will be missed more than words can say and remembered always by those who knew and loved her.
