Teresa R. Jones Obituary
A celebration of life for Teresa R. Jones, 49, of North Bend will be held at 1pm, Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Coos Bay Chapel, 685 Anderson Avenue in Coos Bay. A luncheon will follow the service at 3035 Ridgeway Drive in Reedsport.
Teresa lost her courageous fight with cancer passing peacefully in her sleep surrounded by family and loved ones on July 8, 2019.
Born January 12, 1970 to Charles P and Judith M Johnson (Holcomb) in Bend, Oregon.
In 1971 her brother Kevin P Johnson joined the family.
Teresa was blessed with 5 children; Amanda, Nicolas, and Jacob Nelson; Kayla Parks- Clark, and her youngest son; Cody Johnson, Grandsons; Kaeson Clark and Issac Parks, whom she was hoping to meet but was not able to hang on for his arrival. We are sure she will be watching from heaven.
On August 15, 2009, Teresa married her new love; John Jones whom was faithfully by her side during this tough battle. She was further blessed with John’s children, son, Quayd; daughter, Kindra; and grand-daughter, Mykiala; whom she thought of as her own.
Teresa was a very gentle and kind soul that always had a smile and positive attitude. She loved and lived for her family. Spending time with them brought her great joy, which was immensely expressed in her smile every time she was with them.
She is survived by her husband, John Jones; mother, Judith Johnson; her brother, Kevin Johnson; her children, Amanda, Nicolas and Jacob Nelson, Kayla Parks-Clark and Kayla’s husband, Joseph Parks, and Cody Johnson; step children, Quayd and Kindra; grandchildren, Kaeson Clark and soon to be here; Issac Parks, and step-granddaughter, Mykiala.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles P Johnson.
