Richard Snyder Obituary

At his request, no public services will be held for Richard Larry Snyder, 82, of Coos Bay. Private cremation rites will be held at Ocean View Memory Gardens in Coos Bay.

Richard was born Aug. 3, 1935 in Wellston, Mich., to Ervin William and Juanita Noreen (Smith) Snyder. He passed away May 2, 2018 in Coos Bay.

Richard graduated from North Bend High School in 1953 and went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Army from 1954 to 1957.

He is survived by his son, Ricky Snyder of Clearwater, Fla.; sisters, Connie Ross of North Fort Myers, Fla., Rita Hood of St. Charles, Ill., Nita Mayle of Deland, Fla., and Penny Beetz of North Aurora, Ill.; brothers, Wayne Snyder of Mentor, Ohio, Pat Snyder of Coos Bay, and Billy Snyder of Au Gres, Mich..
