Leslie "Les" Daniel Gault

A memorial service for Les Gault, 63, of Coos Bay, will be held at 2pm, Saturday, February 3, at the Bay Area Church of the Nazarene, 1850 Clark Street in North Bend, with pastor Jim Parmenter of Coos Bay Christian Fellowship, officiating. Private cremation rites and inurnment will be held at Ocean View Memory Gardens in Coos Bay.

Les was born November 23, 1954 in Turlock, California, the youngest child of Charles and Ava Gault. He went to be with the Lord January 29, 2018 in Coquille, after suffering a massive heart attack.

Les moved to Coos Bay with his family when he was 6 weeks old. After attending high school, he went to work for Georgia Pacific. When Georgia Pacific closed, he went to work for Roseburg Forest Products in Coquille, where he worked for 39 years until the time of his death. He made many friends in those years.

Les married Linda Bilyeu in 1978. March 11th would have been their 40th wedding anniversary. They were blessed with three wonderful children, who blessed them with 14 grandchildren. Although those grandchildren were loved and adored by their papa, there was still room in his heart to share that love with any child he met.

Les attended Coos Bay Christian Fellowship for 32 years, where he touched the lives of many. Les will be remembered for his humor, his big heart and his love for his family and friends. He will be missed beyond measure.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Nathan and Tessa Gault, Timothy and Jamie Gault and Kerri and Trisun Spencer; grandchildren, Beth, Samantha, Alana, Isaiah, Ava, Isabella, Malia, Grant, Josh, Gabe, Garrett, Ben, Roman and Jonathon; brother, Duane Gault and sister, Pamela Gatzke.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Patricia Curtis.
