Lee Johnson Obituary

Lee David Johnson was born December 8, 1954 in Amsterdam, New York. He passed away March 31, 2018 in Coos Bay.

Lee retired in Coos Bay, following a successful career in contracting, specializing in inter trim, period moldings; in the San Francisco bay area.

Lee absolutely loved living on the Oregon coast, riding his motorcycle from one scenic overlook to another, taking pictures and forwarding them to friends and family.

Lee served in the United States Air Force and carried the pride and patriotism from this to his last breath.  Following his service, Lee and his wife Deborah began their family in rural Wyoming where his daughters were born.  He loved the west and found a comfort with the lifestyle and the can-do
attitude of the people.  Lee loved his family, friends and his country.

Lee is survived by his daughters, Skye and Alexis, and his precious granddaughter, Madison, all three living in the San Francisco Bay area; his sister, Lynne and brother, Gary.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah.

Lee’s family gives thanks to his friends who have all been so helpful and kind during this time of grief.

Arrangements are under the care of Ocean View Memory Gardens Cremation & Burial Services, 541-888-4709.
