What can I say about Mr. Donald Dickinson, My friend and my emotionally adopted FB brother, Bro. D. We talked about all sorts of things. What was happening in the news and how we felt about it. All types of art and artists. We made each other laugh because we got each others humor. We loved each other like family even though we never met in person. Bro. D. was a kind and gentle person and through rough times with his health he kept on and pushed right through it. I'm blessed to have known him and Cindy all the way back to before they were married and they were head over heals about each other. You just knew that their love would last lifetimes, and I'm sure it has and will again. My heart goes out to them both right now, because how does one cope when the other one has transcended. So how does one say good-by to this most interesting man, this artist, this renaissance man. I won't say good-by, I'll just say see you later Bro. D. I'm glad our paths crossed and I hope they cross again. Until that time Bro. D. I'm sending you my best wishes on your journey and healing prayer to Cindy and your family. Love to you all

I am saddened to have lost the father of my daughter (Tilura) in such a horrific accident. I was able to locate Don in California to unite him with his daughter in 2001. He came to back to Seattle to meet Tilura. Don and I have remained friends for the past 16 years. I see so many of his mannerisms and talents in our daughter that he will always be close by. A very generous and caring man.I
encouraged him to come back to the west coast (Davey Jones Locker is where he wanted to be) so he moved to Coos Bay. He was lucky to meet and marry
Cindy, as he needed to have some one to love and care for him as only Cindy could do. I will cherish the paintings that Don did for me of Mount Baker and a Whale in the ocean. Gone to soon and will truly be missed

Death is not an end, but a journey home. Someday, you'll be reunited with your loved one. Until then, Your loved one will live on in your heart, for those we've turly loved could never be forgotten. And I hope that the love you feel will give you strength through these difficult times. For God gave him a smile and took his hand and welcomed him to a familiar land. And it's much more warm and fair than the last time he lingered there. And though for his familiar voice you yearn, and every day, you wish for his return, he is home, at last, comforted by the love, of every angel in heaven above. He sheds no tears for the path he trod; for he has found everlasting warmth, beauty, and comfort in the hand of God. Have faith that the sun will shine again.
