A celebration of life for Charlene Inez (Sink) Moore, 86, of Florence, formerly of North Bend, will be held at 11:30 am, Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Life Change Church, 200 Ackerman Avenue in Coos Bay. In honor of Charlene, please wear your favorite team apparel or hers, or her favorite color red. Shoes will be optional as she loved being barefoot. A potluck luncheon will follow.
Charlene was born March 2, 1933 in Fairview, Oklahoma to Floyd Richard Sink and Elsa Maureen (Albright) Sink. She passed away Dec. 8, 2019 in Florence, Oregon.
Charlene was raised in Springfield, but spent most of her life in the Coos Bay/North Bend area. She loved collecting salt and pepper shakers, bowling and bingo with friends, old westerns, game shows, word find books and was an avid football and baseball fan. Her favorite teams were the Oregon Ducks, Seattle Seahawks and the Seattle Mariners. If there was a game being televised; she was watching.
Charlene is survived by daughters, Lori Austin (Moore) and Emily Brown (Moore) both of Coos Bay; sons, Steven Moore and wife, Heidi, Billy Moore and wife, Willa, both of Coos Bay and Tommy Moore of Roseburg; 16 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren and 7 great great-grandchildren; brother, James Sink and wife, Sue of Eugene; sister, Lois Gordon of Coos Bay, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, James Moore.
