A funeral service for Candelario “Junior” Rincon-Hamm, 18, of Coos Bay will be held, 1 p.m., Mon., Jan. 15 at Coos Bay Chapel, 685 Anderson Ave., in Coos Bay. Private cremation rites will be held at Ocean View Memory Gardens, in Coos Bay.

Junior was born Aug. 1, 1999 in Coos Bay, the son of Tina (Hamm) Martinez and Candelario Rincon-Flores. He passed away Dec. 30, 2017, as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Highway 38.

Junior attended North Bend High School, where he graduated early through the PEAK program and received his diploma with his fellow classmates in June, 2017. At the time of his passing, he was a proud employee of the Mill Casino, where he moved up quickly.

Junior will always be remembered for being a genuine, funny, driven and kind hearted man. He always had a bright smile and positive outlook on every situation. In just the past year, we all watched a young, shy kid, transform himself into a confident and ambitious man ready for any adventure.

He will be greatly missed and remembered by family, friends and so many others. He has touched so many lives.

Junior is survived by his parents, Tina Martinez and step-father, Pascual Martinez-Ledezma of Coos Bay; father, Candelario Rincon-Flores of Michoacan, Mexico; brothers, Mike Hamm, Mitch Hamm, Marco Espinoza-Hamm and Kyle Hamm, all of Coos Bay, and Santiago Martinez of Eugene; sister, Jessica Martinez of Port Orford; grandparent; great-grandparents; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; a niece; and nephew.

He was preceded in death by his uncle, Jessie Hamm; great-grandfather, Charles B. Jones and great-grandmother, Cora Hamm.
