A public visitation for Betty Jane May, 90, of North Bend, will be held from 10 am to noon, Friday, December 29 at Coos Bay Chapel, 685 Anderson Avenue in Coos Bay. A funeral service will follow at 2pm at the Church of God of North Bend, 1067 Newmark Street in North Bend, with pastor Gary Robertson, officiating. A graveside service will be held at noon, Tuesday, January 2 at Roseburg Memorial Gardens, 1056 NW Hicks Street in Roseburg.

Betty was born Feb. 5, 1927 in Missouri to Jim and Alta Daniels. She passed away Dec. 22, 2017 in Coos Bay.

Betty was a very loving and caring Christian woman. She loved hugs and was loved by everyone that met her.

She is survived by her sons, James Coffman, Gary May, Terry May of Roseburg and Jim May of Las Vegas; daughters, Diane Coffman, Belinda Geyer-Brown of Roseburg, and Barbara Johnson of Las Vegas; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George May.
