Betty Taylor Obituary

Betty Lou Hawley Taylor died June 16, 2018 of Coos Bay, Oregon of colon cancer.

She was born to Charles Wilson Hawley, Jr. and Nellie Jane Maurer on June 17, 1933 in Portland, Oregon.

Betty is survived by her husband Eugene (Gene) Joseph. Taylor. Betty & Gene were married in Fresno, CA, Dec. 22, 1970.

She was a Secretary, Office Manager and Waitress during her life. She has one son Bruce W. Olacsi, from her first marriage which occurred in San Francisco, CA to Bryon (Buzz) Olacsi (B:21 Nov, 1930 - D: 11 June, 1992 in Los Angeles, CA 90039). Bryon and Betty later divorced.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents and only sibling, an older sister, Nellie Jane (Jane) Hawley Willis of Chico, CA. Interment of her cremains will be later. Her wish was to remain together with Gene until they could be interned together.
