A Ritualistic Masonic memorial service for Jack Roy Woodworth, 83, of North Bend, will be held at 2pm Friday, December 6 at the North Bend Masonic Lodge #140 A.F &A.M. , 2002 Union Ave., in North Bend with Jim Larkin, Past Master and Pastor Don Berney of New Beginnings Christian Fellowship presiding. Private cremation rites were held at Ocean View Memory Gardens in Coos Bay with a private inurnment to be held at Sunset Memorial Park in Coos Bay.

Jack was born July 16, 1930 in Yakima, Washington to Orin Roy Woodworth and Beatrice Marian (Ball) Woodworth. He passed away November 27, 2013 in Coos Bay.

Jack was raised in Yakima, Washington, later moving to Coos Bay at the age of 17. A short time later he met and on June 17, 1950 married his first wife, Barbara Ulery. Together they had three sons, Patrick, Steven and Daniel. In 2003, Barbara tragically passed away after a battle with cancer. On May 8, 2004 Jack married Eva Mae Browning of North Bend.  

Jack was well known in the county; he was the owner and operator of Western Truck Service for many years and 101 Auto Salvage. He was a member of the Coos County Mounted Posse where he shared his love for horses, both raising them and riding. He was also a member of the North Bend Masonic Lodge #140 A.F & A.M. for 50 years and belonged to the local Myrtlewood A Club.

Jack enjoyed the outdoors and loved to race; racing both cars and motorcycles for a good portion of his life, passing that tradition on down to his kids and grandkids. Jack was loved by many people and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Eva Mae Woodworth of North Bend; sons, Patrick and wife, Luana Woodworth of Coos Bay, Steven and wife, Patty of North Bend; step-sons, David W. Anderson of Coos Bay, Steve Anderson of North Bend, Raymond Anderson of Washington; step-daughters, Eva Jean Fry of Coos Bay, Diane Flores of Coquille; grandchildren, Mindi Mergel of Coos Bay, Patrick and wife, Sandi Woodworth of North Bend, Eric Woodworth of North Bend, Brad and wife, Amy Woodworth of LaPine, Sirena and husband, Chris Francis of Broadbent; three great-grandsons and three great-granddaughters; numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren, which he loved so dearly; best friend, LeRoy Nelson of North Bend.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Orin and Beatrice Woodworth; first wife, Barbara; son, Daniel Woodworth; sisters, Patty Woodworth and Virginia Owens.
