A graveside service for Etnie Anderson, 84, of Coquille will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, September 15 at Sunset Memorial Park, 63060 Millington Frontage Road in Coos Bay.

Etnie was born May 23, 1933 in Arkansas.  She passed away at home on Sept. 10, 2017.

During her life, she was an artist and avid quilter who won numerous blue ribbons and awards.  She also taught Brazilian embroidery at the local art guild.  She enjoyed her children and grandchildren and will be missed.

Etnie is survived by four of her five children, ten grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Maurice Anderson.
